Classic Cheeseburger With Crispy Fries
Juicy beef patty with melted cheese on a toasted brioche bun

Prepare the patties: Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions. Form into balls, then flatten into patties slightly larger than the buns. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Toast the buns: Spread butter on cut sides of brioche buns. Toast in a hot pan until golden brown. Set aside.
Cook the patties: Heat a cast iron skillet or grill pan over high heat. Cook patties 3-4 minutes per side for medium. Add a slice of cheddar on top during the last minute to melt.
Make the fries (optional): Fry potatoes at 350°F until golden and crispy. Season with salt and herbs.
Assemble: Spread ketchup on the bottom bun, add lettuce, pickles, onion slices, then the cheesy patty. Top with mayonnaise and close with the top bun.
Serve immediately with crispy fries on the side.
