How to Activate the Non-Stick Effect

The Waterdrop Test is a simple method to check if your titanium pan is properly preheated and ready for non-stick cooking, without using chemical coatings. It’s based on how water behaves when it touches the surface

1. Preheat Gently
1. Preheat Gently
Place the pan on the stove and preheat it on medium heat for about 2–3 minutes. This allows the pan to heat evenly and prepares the surface for natural non-stick cooking. Avoid using the highest heat setting when preheating the pan.
2. Do the Waterdrop Test
2. Do the Waterdrop Test
Once the pan is heated, sprinkle a small drop of water onto the surface. If the water evaporates instantly, the pan needs more time. If the drop forms a small ball that glides or dances across the pan, the pan has reached the ideal temperature and is ready for cooking.
3. Add Oil & Start Cooking
3. Add Oil & Start Cooking
Lower the heat slightly, then add your oil or fat. Once the oil begins to shimmer, place your food in the pan. Let the food cook undisturbed. It may stick briefly at first, but once properly seared, it will release naturally without sticking.
